Vacancy: Operator Liquid Bulk (early/late shift)

To strengthen our team at the Kluizendok Tank Terminal, we are looking for an enthusiastic operator for our early-late shift. As an operator, you are a vital link in the logistics of liquid bulk goods. You’ll work in a dynamic environment on the quay, close to the water, surrounded by impressive tank installations and cargo ships from all over the world.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• You carry out operational activities for multiple tank farms, such as loading and unloading ships, trains, and trucks.
• You handle the related communication with ship captains, surveyors, and other stakeholders.
• You regularly coordinate with fellow operators to ensure continuity of operations.
• You perform maintenance tasks when necessary.
• You check your own work for quality and comply with environmental regulations.
• You follow the various steps of the process as prescribed and respect the established company instructions.
• You strictly adhere to our cleanliness and safety rules.
• You are flexible and assist where needed according to the schedule.

Your Profile:

• You are flexible and open to a wide range of tasks.
• You are hands-on and know how to get things done.
• You can handle stress well.
• You speak Dutch and are fluent in English.
• Quality and safety are values you hold in high regard.
• You can work accurately, precisely, and independently.
• No specific diploma is required, but you possess a certain maturity and logical reasoning skills.
• You have a technical aptitude and knowledge of automation.
• You have (some) experience in the sector and with using technical data (density, volume, temperature) of chemical/petrochemical products.
• You are able to work in the following shift system: 1 week late shift – 1 week early shift.
