Ghent Transport & Storage is a family-owned company located in the Port of Ghent. We specialize in the handling and storage of both liquid bulk goods (such as liquid fertilizers and petroleum products including gasoline, (bio)diesel, gas oil, and kerosene) and dry bulk goods (fertilizers, grains, wood pellets, and rapeseed). With our professional team and state-of-the-art equipment, we ensure that all goods are handled quickly, safely, and efficiently.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- You ensure thorough cleaning of rolling equipment, buildings, conveyors, and other work areas to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- You perform daily maintenance on our machinery and occasionally carry out minor repairs.
- You keep maintenance records up to date, such as filling out checklists and logging completed tasks.
You will be deployed at two different terminals in the Port of Ghent.
