Ghent Renewables is a new site that has been responsible since 2022 for the storage and processing of vegetable and animal oils and fats. Due to the growth of our organization, we wish to strengthen the team with a motivated customer service specialist.

As a Customer Service Specialist, you play a key role within our organization. You are responsible for the quality and reliability of all administrative processes that support our operational activities on site.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- You are responsible for the complete administrative follow-up of the operational activities on site. This includes, among other things, nominations, operational files, invoicing input, complaint registration and follow-up, all managed through the terminal management system.
- Together with your team, you organize and optimize the scheduling of ships, trains, and trucks.
- You serve as the primary point of contact for our customers and maintain daily communication.
- You ensure the correct processing of (customs) documents in the designated registers.
- You are responsible for the daily reporting of terminal activities and inventory monitoring via the terminal management system.
- You provide timely and accurate data for customer invoicing and thereby support the accounting department.
Your Profile:
- You hold a bachelor’s degree or have equivalent experience.
- You have at least 3 years of experience in an administrative role.
- You switch effortlessly between teamwork and working independently, depending on the situation.
- You communicate clearly, professionally, and purposefully, both internally and with customers.
- You work in a structured and meticulous manner, with attention to detail and quality.
- You are proactive, solution-oriented, and focused on achieving results.
- You have strong planning and organizational skills and maintain an overview even during busy periods.
- You have a critical eye and actively contribute ideas for process improvements.
- You have a hands-on mentality and demonstrate ownership in everything you do.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English; French is an additional asset.
- Experience in the logistics sector with knowledge of customs and import documents is a strong plus.
